Rev. Bryan Ostaszewski has been an interfaith ordained Minister and Ordained Chaplain for over 40 years. He is a Board Certified Mental Health and Life Coach, a Certified Pastoral trained counselor providing: Marriage, Family, Spiritual, Grief and Loss, Bereavement and Mental Behavioral Health guidance. He also is a certified and trained Suicide Awareness, Prevention, intervention and postvention facilitator for the State of Nevada. He provides suicide prevention classes and workshops, and some include: SafeTalk, ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), YMHFA (Youth Mental Health First Aid), MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) and Shields of Care.
He is also a lead trainer for Grief and Loss, Addiction Recovery, Domestic Abuse & Violence and Health and Wellbeing practices. He provides self-care and wellness activities which includes: Yoga and Reiki classes/treatments, Addiction Spiritual Support Groups, and Workshops. Reverend Bryan also has been trained and certified as lead supervision on Disaster Preparedness, Emergency Crisis and Disaster Response, Substance/Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Crisis Response, Critical Incident Debriefing, Mass Causality and Psychological First Aid. And he is CPR/AED, First Aid, Blood Pathogen and Hazardous Operations trained and certified as well.
Reverend Bryan has also received extensive training regarding military culture and background; and provides mental health guidance and critical resources to effectively engage and support these brave men and women and support their families through crisis as well. And he provides Chaplaincy Services to Chaplains and other Clergy, EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement and Dispatch agencies, “on scene” and “behind scene” activities, Hospital and Hospice facilities, with an emphasis on critical incident stress assistance and management care.
